LSD (Lion Speed Deck)

Your main strategy to develop a fast military onslaught supported by the province destruction events (Evil feeds Upon Itslef, the Return of Fu Leng and Desperate Measures). In battle you are very flexible. You will rarely be a victim of a terrain, not only your stronghold is there to support it but also you play 3 Superior Tactics (which also allow you to take provinces down unopposed) and Winter Warfare (which main purpose is to act as a functional "Doom of the Ninja"). Your deck is filled with battle actions to rule the battleground, including many for boosters which means that a single personality can take care of a province or even an army! Ashigaru are quite good at what they do, they will often be a 1-2 Force follower for 0 gold that will preventy you from being target of refugees, they add up with a Test of Courage for that matter. Since your deck is so redundant, you will barely notice the negative side of Hantei Sensei and it can be a good tool to disrupt your opponent's strategy. Given the high personal honor of your personalities, you can present a switch strategy, specially if you manage to destroy a large army in battle, that can also win through honor victory. However, this is rare, not only because you also play some cards that push you in the opposite direction (like Desperate Measures or the corrupted package) but also because you also play the Return of Fu Leng which oftentimes you will forfeit the ability to win thorugh honor to avoid losing a province. But the possibility is still there, make your choices wisely. The most delicate point of the deck is how you handle your early honor losses. You have some personalities that have high honor requirements (like Matsu Gohei), for this reason you are very susceptible to an early breach of etiquette or simply revealing your Desperate Measures way too soon. To handle that you need to make good use of your Hantei Sensei and Avoid Fates, but also if worst comes to worst you have the safety net in the form of Lies, Lies, Lies ..., but be careful!, once you embraced corruption (played Oni no Akuma or a Corrupted Gold Mine), you won't be able to play Lies any longer. It is a balancing act to decide whether you need speed or honor stability at any point of the game. Note: the deck is built exclusively by cards from Imperial through Dark Journey home + Senseis printed pre-Gold (+ Amnesia and Forgotten Lessons so you have a way to interact with the Senseis).
