An infamous "Faceless" build (0 personalities), designed to both inspire players on this "Dark Side" archetype, and prepare them against it.
JEKxp + Private Trader offers a very strong shot at going first (8SFH), and the ability to play Blackmail (on your opponent's Border Keep) turn 1. That's a win-win. You get to use your opponent's BK abilities (once per *game*, so you spending them means he can not), and if your opponent (smartly) reveals the Blackmail you use the favor that you start with to prevent the honor loss. Now your opponent is down a province, and severely limited in the "pace" they can bring out threats against your notable barrage of PK events and strategies.
Win is generally by dishonor through Den of Spies and Disreputable House.
Best option against these decks will be to devote the first game turns to gold building. That will spend out quite a few of the notorious PK events. Then try to bring more than 1 personality into play per turn, to outmatch the Faceless deck's defense capacity.
Against this build in particular, do consider revealing the T1 blackmail, so you can get your BK back (with one usable ability still). It's +2 gold production to you, and -2 to the Faceless player.
Of course, if you have the option to run Norikazu Sensei, you should find this matchup greatly simplified...
