Hida Yakamo will only join a Crab player. Hida Yakamo can attach the Jade Hand and the Ancestral Sword of Hantei without Gold cost.
Battle: Straighten Hida Yakamo (if necessary) and assign him as a defender in any battle with Shadowlands cards in the attacking army. Yakamo need not be invited as an ally and cannot be sent home from the battle.
