Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
L5R DB is a small, independently run fan site. This page explains what information is collected when you visit or use it, and how it's used.
Information we collect
Account data. If you register an account, we store the email address and password you sign up with (via Supabase, our authentication provider), along with any username and bio you choose to add to your public profile. Public decklists and collection data you create are linked to your account.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors browse, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are located. This is aggregate, statistical data and isn't used to identify you personally.
Advertising. This site may show ads served through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites; see Google's own advertising privacy policy for how that works and how to opt out.
Messages. If you reach out through the contact form or Discord, the information you send is used only to respond to you.
Cookies
Signing in sets a session cookie so the site knows who you are. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may also set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; this won't affect your ability to browse or search the card database, though it may sign you out or affect how ads behave.
Third parties this site uses
Supabase (account authentication and database), Google Analytics (site statistics), Google AdSense (advertising), and Vercel (hosting infrastructure, which keeps standard server logs like IP address and request time for security and reliability).
Your rights
You can ask what data is held about your account, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and associated data to be deleted, by reaching out via the contact form or Discord. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
Children
This site isn't directed at children, and no data is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
Changes
This policy may be updated occasionally as the site changes. Check back here if you want the current version.
