AKA not quite your PCP, this deck is a hybrid between military and control. Why does it work so well with Unicorn? For several reasons! First, thanks to their trade network across gaijin lands (not to mention their “Merchants” sub-faction), the Ki-Rin Clan has a powerful, healthy economy that allows it to play high-gold-cost cards quite comfortably. Second, it’s the perfect complement to Unicorn’s military strategy: I crush a couple of your provinces unopposed, and now… Now what? Well, now I get rid of your most troublesome defenders, bow whatever’s left, and finish the job without breaking a sweat. A great example of how kokus win wars! 😉😬 Note: the deck is built exclusively by cards from Imperial through Dark Journey home + Senseis printed pre-Gold (+ Amnesia and Forgotten Lessons so you have a way to interact with the Senseis).
